What do we mean by "5 A Day The Easy Way"?
Good question! Nutritionists will tell you that eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day is the minimum recommendation for maintaining a healthy body. That equates to about 2 cups of each – every single day!
And what about people that just don’t like vegetables?
Most of us can remember our mother’s urging us to “eat your vegetables” – or worse, not letting you leave the table until you choked those veggies down! Some researchers believe that bad experiences with vegetables from our past can affect how we feel about them now (Karen Collins, MS, RD, CDN, nutrition consultant to the American Institute for Cancer Research).
